Emile YX? travels to INDIA – Dec ‘ 11 – Jan ‘ 12
22February
2012
Wow!!! India is truly a live changing trip and it lived up to everything people say about it. I got to meet some local b-boys from “Tiny Drops” and “Slumgods” while on the tour and jammed with them in a fort on the top of a hill in Mumbai. The visit to the Taj Mahaal, Gateway to India, Temples, Dharavi Slum and meeting new people made the trip an amazing experience. My ideas about humanity and its origin all got drawn into question, while at the same time seeing the effects of human over-population while still making ends meet no matter what and without any excuses, really made me re-think the excuses we make here in South Africa. My visit to my fore-fathers homeland in Kerala, South India was a very emotional one for me. Embracing all of who I am is about learning all that makes us who we are. Please check out some of my pictures on my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151118657935720.783905.502960719&type=3
